Some highlights
Building resilient multi-tenant infrastructure
Azure Managed Redis · Active-active geo-replication · Kyverno policy framework
Backbase's Managed Hosting required a production-grade, multi-tenant caching layer with no downtime tolerance, alongside consistent security governance across Kubernetes clusters at enterprise scale.
Architected and delivered a multi-tenant caching platform on Azure Managed Redis, introducing an active-active geo-replication model with a validated zero-downtime cutover strategy. In parallel, standardised Kyverno policy frameworks across clusters, strengthening governance and security compliance across the entire Managed Hosting platform.
Datadog → Grafana: Observability platform migration
Multi-tenant · Prometheus + Loki · Centralised alerting & audit logging
tenant
The existing Datadog-based observability stack was costly and inflexible at multi-tenant scale. Dashboards were slow due to high metric cardinality, and incident notification was fragmented across teams and customers with no unified standard.
Migrated from Datadog to Grafana + Prometheus + Loki. Reduced metric cardinality with adaptive metrics and datasource caching. Built multi-channel alerting (PagerDuty, Slack, Teams, email) and centralised audit log archiving across all platform services with secure third-party access.
AWS → Azure: Multi-cloud migration at scale
Managed Hosting platform · 10+ banking clients · GitOps modernisation
Backbase needed to migrate 10+ production banking client environments from AWS EKS and private Azure tenants into a unified Managed Hosting platform on AKS — with no tolerance for downtime across regulated financial services workloads.
Led end-to-end environment migrations, standardised GitOps workflows by migrating from FluxCD to ArgoCD with Helm, and moved 50+ repositories and CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise, adopting GitHub Actions across the board. Mentored junior engineers throughout.

About
Building and operating Kubernetes platforms that engineering teams can rely on. Cloud migrations, observability, CI/CD, platform resilience — across AWS and Azure, for clients in regulated financial services.
Systems should be secure and operable by default. I'd rather design guardrails into the platform than write runbooks for when things break.
